WHAT ARE THE MOST COMMON MISTAKES WHEN APPLYING FOR THE BARBADOS VISITOR’S PERMIT?

Among the most common and yet grave mistakes able to disrupt the visit to Barbados are linked to wrongly inserted data like:

  • Country, issuer of the passport: this is the country of nationality, the one that is present on the passport page. It is often mistaken with the country where the passport holder lives and where they may have applied for the personal document.
  • Date of birth: many applicants insert today’s calendar date on the place of the date of birth. A silly and yet extremely common mistake.
  • Names of the Applicant: remember to always add the names as they are written in your passport. Do not add your nicknames and do not miss any of your names. As a rule of thumb, all travel documents should contain the same data as the passport.
  • E-mail address: make sure you have added the correct e-mail address as this is the only way we can contact you. If you will be using your business e-mail, be sure to have access to it during the process of applying for the Barbados Travel Authorisation.
  • Accommodation details: it is important to complete the whole address of where you will be staying in Barbados. Apart from the name of the host (person, hotel, guest house, etc.), please add the postal address including the sub-region (parish).
